Intelligent Memory Manager watches how you actually use your tabs — idle time, scroll, typing, audio — and puts the truly inactive ones to sleep. Come back, and they're restored exactly where you left them.
How it works
A 60-second sweep walks a min-heap of tabs ordered by importance score, and moves anything genuinely inactive from Idle to Sleeping — never touching what you're using.
The current tab, plus anything pinned, playing audio, or matching a site you've allow-listed. Never discarded, no matter how long it's open.
No scrolling, typing, or clicks past your idle threshold. Scored against seven signals and queued for sleep if nothing changes.
The tab is discarded from memory, but its scroll position and form input were saved first — reopen it and you're back exactly where you left off.
Analytics
Every discard is logged. The Analytics tab surfaces your top resource hogs and the domains you reopen most, plus how long each domain typically sits idle before it's worth sleeping — the extension keeps adapting the longer you use it.
Optional
Sleeping a tab is one thing — some tabs you'd also rather not have pop back open in front of someone glancing at your screen. Opt in per tab with the key button, and it'll ask for your PIN (or fingerprint, where supported) the next time it wakes up.
No accounts, no servers, no analytics beamed anywhere. Tab state, idle history, and your PIN hash live in your browser's own local storage — full stop.
